Imani Custom is the custom manufacturing arm of Imani Collective, a global social enterprise committed to creating dignified employment and holistic empowerment for artisans in Kenya.

What began over a decade ago as a women’s empowerment program has grown into a thriving collective of skilled makers who bring beauty, function, and meaning to every product. Imani Custom was born out of this journey—to invite others to co-create with us through small-batch, ethical manufacturing rooted in relationship.

We specialize in partnering with brands, designers, and organizations who want their products to reflect their values—products that tell a story, support people, and are made with deep care.

Our Workshop

Built by artisans, for artisans.

Located in the heart of Mombasa, Kenya, our workshop is more than a production space—it’s a place of belonging. Here, our artisans work side by side with team leads, designers, and quality specialists to create handcrafted goods using natural and sustainable materials.

From screen printing to stitching, from weaving to finishing, every piece that leaves our workshop reflects the hands—and hearts—behind it.
